Preview help. bitClear is coming soon. Features and appearance may change before release.
I still see ads
- Check that you are using Safari.
- Open Safari’s extension settings and confirm all three bitClear blockers are enabled.
- Check Paused sites in bitClear. Resume blocking for the site if you want it filtered.
- Choose Check for Updates, then reload the page in Safari.
Blocking varies by website and selected filters. Some ads, including some video ads, may remain. bitClear does not block ads inside the YouTube, Facebook or other apps.
A website does not work properly
- Open bitClear and find Paused sites.
- Enter the site’s address, such as example.com, and choose Pause.
- Reload the page in Safari.
Pausing covers that site and its subdomains. Choose Resume to turn filtering back on, or Undo Last Change to reverse the most recent change.
Filter updates are unavailable
Check your internet connection and try Check for Updates again later. If you use a VPN or network filter, check whether it is blocking access to the update host. Do not change security settings just to force an update. If the problem continues, send us the exact message and your app and system versions.
What should I send to support?
Include your device, system version, bitClear version, the affected website address and what happened. A screenshot of the problem helps. Remove private information first; we do not need your passwords, account details or browsing history.
